About Dalbez Group

Four decades of market leadership

A Panama-based group built on long-term relationships with the world's brands and the region's best retail real estate.

Our story

From distributor to regional retail group

Founded in Panama in 1981, Dalbez Group started by distributing brands from Korea and Taiwan. Over four decades it has grown into a diversified group spanning beauty and cosmetics, footwear, apparel, accessories and lifestyle, complemented by strategic investments in real estate and hospitality across Panama.

Headquartered in Panama City, our operations leverage the strategic advantage of the Colón Free Zone, one of the world's largest logistics and re-export hubs. From there we connect global brands with high-value retail networks, consumer bases and influential platforms throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

A major driver of our regional expansion has been MUMUSO, with more than 20 stores across the region and a group total of over 50. Building on that momentum, leadership under Alberto and Edmundo Tawachi is advancing the business into new consumer segments, with a strong focus on the female market: today we represent more than 30 leading skincare and makeup brands.
